The article was updated with the statement, “readers informed me the lawsuit was dismissed by the judge a couple of weeks ago.” That was inaccurate. As of November 10, 2025, both lawsuits remained active. The article also described controversy only in relation to “the enclosed field,” even though the Meinig Fieldhouse project includes both an indoor synthetic turf field and an outdoor synthetic turf field. The petitioners were not contacted for clarification before publication or before the update was added. Despite five written correction requests, no correction was issued and no response was received.
